Privacy Policy
Short version
We collect as little as we can. No accounts on this site, no newsletter sign-up that tracks you, no ad pixels, no third-party analytics scripts. If you email us, we keep your email until we've dealt with it.
Analytics
We run a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool. It records page views, the referring site, the country your request came from, and whether you're on mobile or desktop. It does not set cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other sites. The data sits on our own server. We use it to see which reviews people actually read and which pages are broken.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard logs: IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser string. These exist for security and troubleshooting and are rotated out on a short schedule. We don't combine them with anything else and we don't sell them.
If you write to [email protected], we get your address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to reply and, if it's a correction, to fix the page. We don't add you to a list. We don't share it. We delete correspondence we no longer need.
Partner links
Buttons and links on reviews open partner platforms. Those are separate companies with their own accounts, chats, payments and privacy policies. Once you're on their site, their rules apply, not ours. We don't see your chats, your payment details or your subscription status. If you want to know what a partner stores, read their privacy policy before you sign up. If you want your data deleted there, ask them, not us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Since we hold very little, most requests are quick. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request" and tell us what you want. We'll confirm within a few business days. If we can't verify who you are, we may ask a follow-up question before acting.
Children
This site is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, write to us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change how the site handles data, we update this page. The date at the top moves with it. Big changes get a note on the homepage. Questions go to [email protected].
